A Mother’s Heritage is adding Contributors! Pt. 1

As I mentioned yesterday A Mother’s Heritage is adding a team of contributors beginning in January.  Over the next few days I will be introducing them to you. I hope you will join in my excitement at all that the Lord is doing!

Many of you may have already been privileged to meet Bambi from In the Nursery of the Nation. Immediately upon visiting her site, I felt a kindred spirit with her.  Bambi shares our vision here at AMH to encourage women in their high calling as biblical daughters, wives and mothers.  I am so very excited to have her here monthly sharing Titus 2 wisdom with us!

I appreciate Bambi’s commitment to keeping her family first in all her blogging.  She recently gave us a blog repellent as an excellent reminder!

Bambi is the helpmeet to her high school sweetheart for seventeen years now, and they have seven blessings they are raising together for the glory of God.  Their eighth baby (a girl!) will be joining them in March, Lord willing.  Bambi enjoys good coffee, homeschooling, reading meaty books and spending time outdoors.  She enjoys blogging about family discipleship, marriage and motherhood at her blog In the Nursery of the Nation.

Yasmin from Growing P31 Woman is joining us monthly as well.  I am excited about the perspective this sweet sister will give us as a newer Christian who has more recently come home from the work force to be a full time wife and mother to her family.  I look forward to following Yasmin on her journey as I hope you will be also.

This is Yasmin’s intro to you all…

I’m just a regular mom trying to figure out how to be the godly wife, mother, woman that God created me to be.  My goal in life is to grow deeper in Christ, so that all my choices & decisions are His and not mine.  I don’t know how to be a good wife, mother, or person… but when my focus is on Jesus, and with the help of His Holy Spirit, I can do all things!

I’ve been married for over 10 years and we have four beautiful kiddies.  Recently I left the work force to take care of my family at home.  We don’t have a perfect life – we struggle financially, my husband just recently began going to church with us, my children’s socks don’t always match, I struggle to keep my home organized, and it seems like I can never perfect this whole help-meet role God has called me to!

But I love my God and I give all of myself and my family to Him.  My prayer is always for Him to empty me of me and fill me with Him so that my family would only see a humble servant who would give everything to show them how much they are loved.  Though I’m not always confident in myself or who I am, I am always confident in my King and my Savior.  He is the Way that I follow, the Truth that I believe, and the Life that lives in me!

Yasmin is married to her favorite man and the happy mommy of four children.  As a new Christian and a more recent stay at home mom, Yasmin is excited about all that the Lord has in store for her as He teaches her how to be a Proverbs 31 woman.  You can follow her journey at Growing P31 woman, as well as on Facebook and Twitter.

Most of you will have already seen guest posts here by my dear friend Jennifer Ross from Renewing Housewives.  Let me tell you, she is a blessing!  With nearly a dozen children, this Titus 2 sister has alot to share with us.  Jennifer’s specialty is her delight in homemaking, as some of you may have seen in her Homemaking 101 DVD (if you haven’t ordered yours, make sure you do!)

Jennifer is the cherished wife of a very visionary man, and a home schooling mother to almost a dozen children. Her deepest desire is to consistently love her husband and children, and to be a diligent and joyful keeper at home. Her favorite pastime is to encourage fellow housewives in their highest calling of wife and mother. When she’s not creating Homemaking DVDs or hosting webinars, she can be found blogging at Renewing Housewives.
