It’s Five Minute Friday again. A day to write our thoughts without scrupling over the content…I love it!
How was your week? I for one, had a week that was somewhat difficult as I struggled with alot of fatigue. And so for the prompt “Whole” this is what came out…
GO:
So often I feel so empty.
So unable to complete the tasks the Lord has given me.
I feel broken…
like the little matchbox car hidden behind the couch that has one of it’s wheels missing…
I feel like I am limping my way through life.
When shall I be whole?
My walking as a Christian, as a godly wife, as a mother is so stumbling.
When shall I be whole?
Despondency, fatigue, fog, weariness…
When shall I be whole?
But then I am reminded of the One who IS whole and makes me whole.
Through Him, as He is glorified in my weaknesses, I am whole.
As I give myself wholly unto Him, dying to self, living unto Christ
sacrificing to serve those He has called me to…
I am whole.
I can soar.
I can run in the ways He has called me to.
Even youth grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall, but those that wait upon the Lord….
shall renew their strength!
STOP!
