Weight Loss Wednesday- Exercise

Family / Tuesday, October 25th, 2011

I am honored to be helping out Alicia over at Confessions of a Snowflake by hosting her Weight Loss Wednesday Link-up this week.  Having a support system where you can encourage each other is key to our journey towards fitness and health.

Today we are talking about exercise. What kind of exercise do you find helpful?

Since it is WLW and we are being vulnerable here, I will share this funny photo from our fall mountain hike last weekend.

That’s me standing next to my son and yes, I am huffing and puffing.  The funny thing was that my friend in the middle was coming alongside to help us and we made it look like we were actually helping her up this particular hill.  🙂

It was a gorgeous day and great exercise!  In fact, we concluded that it counted for at least two weeks worth, right?  I am afraid it doesn’t work that way, but it was a great workout and a beautiful time!

Besides hiking, those of you who have been following me on WLWs know that I have recently started using T-Tapp. I am still learning the basic moves and so do not have any real results to share, but lets just say I am very excited by what I have heard from the testimonials!

Some of you know I have adrenal fatigue which gives me chronic fatigue issues.  I was so thrilled to watch a testimonial today of a woman who has had so much help with chronic fatigue through T-Tapp.  She actually feels better AFTER the work-out than before.

It is really amazing, as it blends many of those work-outs we have come to appreciate- core training, strength training, stretches, yoga, Pilates, and aerobics.   Theresa Tapp has combined the best of all the different kinds of workouts to create a truly unique program. I would never have guessed that standing in one spot I could sweat so much!

T-Tapp users have been helped with back problems, high blood pressure and reducing their  insulin levels.

I am doing the 15 minute workout, because how can I make an excuse to not be able to squeeze in 15 minutes? Theresa even mentioned that she created her 15 minute workout for those with chronic fatigue issues!

So that, my friends is my .02 on exercise and I am excited to share my journey with you in this.  I will keep you posted!

Link up below and share with me your favorite exercise!
