My family doesn’t even realize that this isn’t real hot cocoa with sugar! If you’ve not tried Gentle Sweet yet, it is an absolute must for your sugar-free journey. I have literally tried every stevia based sweetener on the market since I went sugar free almost 6 years ago! Gentle Sweet is the only one that really gives that sugary, non-bitter sweetness that we all know and love. It is perfect in your coffee and chocolate especially!
Wholesome Hot Cocoa (FP)
- 2 quarts unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1/3 cup Gentle Sweet
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 3 pinches mineral salt
- 1 scoop THM Chocolate Whey Protein Powder
- 1 Tbsp instant coffee
- 1/2 tsp THM Caramel Natural Burst
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Pour the unsweetened milk into a medium saucepan and warm over medium heat.
Whisk the Gentle Sweet, cocoa powder, and salt into the milk while it's heating.
Slowly sprinkle in the chocolate whey powder a little at a time while whisking so it doesn't clump up.
Remove from heat and add in the coffee, caramel, and vanilla flavoring. Whisk again and ladle into mugs for serving!
